Niko Sabah is an Industrial Designer with a focus on thoughtful solutions and craft.

Current

Niko is an Industrial Designer and a fall 2024 honors graduate from the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA diploma in Design with a Minor in International Business. Niko is currently seeking career positions & internship opportunities within the design field.

Past

Previously, Niko attended the Industrial Design program at the California College of the Arts in San Fransisco CA, and The Product Design Night program at Art Center in Pasadena, CA. Throughout his time spent at these institutions, he has received a well-rounded education with a multitude of approaches to solving a wide range of design challenges.

The Journey

Niko was born and raised in North Lake Tahoe, California, an experience that has fostered a lifelong emphasis on recreation in nature and connection to the outdoors. Various professional experiences, combined with extensive world travel, have led him to the study of Design. With an emphasis on sustainability and craft, Niko aims to bring about alternative approaches to past narratives while at the same time igniting, through design, the deeper pleasures of everyday life.

You can find Niko biking around town seeking out swimming holes, cooking meals for loved ones, or going on adventures in a self-built camper van.
